DAY 1 Arrive Yangon
Arrive
at Yangon Airport and transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, drive down to the downtown area, colonial
styles building and India quarter. Visit Sule Pagoda, lies
smack in the middle of the city. Then visit to the Bogyoke
Aung San Market (Scott Market) is the largest market in
Yangon and it is one of the best for souvenir shopping.
Enjoy spectacular sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, towering
almost 100 meters above the green cityscape of Yangon. One
of the wonders of the world it was believed to have built
over 2500 years ago where the Buddha’s relics were
enshrined. Transfer back to your hotel. Accommodation at
hotel.
DAY 2 Yangon – Mandalay (BF)

Breakfast. This morning, transfer to Yangon Airport. Air
Mandalay or Yangon Airways flight from Yangon to Mandalay
(ETD: 0645/ ETA: 0810 – direct). From the airport, start
your fullday Mandalay sightseeing with a visit to Mahamuni
Pagoda, home to Mandalay’s holiest Buddha statue. In the
late morning check into your hotel.
In the afternoon, visit to the finely carved Shwenandaw
Monastery, which was once famous King Mindon's home. Then
visit to the Kuthodaw Pagoda, famous for its world largest
book, surrounding it with 725 marble slabs inscribed with
the Tipitaka text (the Three Baskets of the Buddhist Pali
canon). Continue to the Kyaukdawgyi Pagoda, famous for its
large Buddha statue carved out of a single block of local
marble. Enjoy the spectacular sunset at Mandalay Hill, 230
metres in elevation, commands a magnificent view of the city
and surrounding countryside. Accommodation at hotel,
Mandalay.
DAY 3 Mandalay – Maymyo – Mandalay (BF)

Breakfast.This morning, drive up to Maymyo (Pyin Oo Lwin),
a cool hill station, over 1,000 m above sea level, founded
during colonial times and a worthwhile 64 km side trip from
Mandalay. Here visitors can enjoy beautiful scenery, a cool
climate and nostalgic atmosphere of former days with its old
buildings and botanical gardens. Late afternoon, drive down
to Mandalay. Accommodation at hotel, Mandalay.
Day 4 Mandalay – Mingun – Sagaing – Ava – Mandalay (BF)
Breakfast. This morning visit Mingun by boat, located about
11 km upriver from Mandalay on the western banks of the
Ayeyarwaddy River. Arrive at Mingun visit around Mingun. It
is a town well-known for its 90 tons Mingun Bell, the
largest ringing bell in the world, a mammoth unfinished
Mingun Pagoda, Settawya Pagoda and Hsinbyume Pagoda. Then,
continue by boat to Sagaing, Sagaing was an ancient capital,
Sagaing lies 21 km south west of Mandalay, beside the
Ayeyarwaddy River. Visit Sagaing Hill, Sagaing Hills are
dotted with pagodas and there are over 500 monasteries, a
retreat for some 6000 monks and nuns. Visit Kaunghmudaw
Pagoda (a copy of the Mahaceti Pagoda in Sri Lanka).
In the afternoon, sail along the Ayeyarwaddy River to In-Wa
(Ava), Ava was the ancient capital, known as the Kingdom of
In-wa during the Second Myanmar Empire. Visit Maha Aungmye
Bonzan Monastery, Bagaya Monastery and if time allows visit
Lacquerware Industry. In the early evening return to
Mandalay. Accommodation at hotel, Mandalay.
Breakfast
Day 5 Mandalay – Monywa (BF)

Breakfast. In the morning, drive about 3 hours to Monywa
(135 km) which is located northwest of Mandalay and on the
eastern bank of Chindwin River. On the way, we visit
Thanboddhay, which lies (10 km) from Monywa. It has over
500000 Buddha figures. It took just 12 years to build, from
1939 to 1951 and the man responsible for its construction
was a famous abbot who financed it with donations from the
general populace. Then, visit local market.
In the afternoon, visit Hpo-win-taung were created during
the Bagan era. In this manmade cave, figures of Buddha have
been carved out of ht living rock. Continue visit
Shwe-ba-taung.
Return back to Monywa. Accommodation at hotel, Monywa.
Day 6 Monywa – Pakokku – Bagan (BF)
Breakfast. This morning, drive to Pakokku, one of the large
harbor towns near the confluence of the Ayeyarwaddy and the
Chindwin River. Arrive Pakokku and visit local market.
In the afternoon, take a ferry boat and towards to Bagan.
Arrival at Bagan Jetty and transfer to your hotel.
Accommodation at hotel, Bagan.
Day 7 Bagan (BF)
Breakfast.
Start your fullday Bagan sightseeing with a visit to Nyaung
Oo local market. Visit to Shwezigon Pagoda, totally coated
with gleaming gold, and the large bulbous bell-shaped stupa.
It is also Bagan’s most important reliquary shrine – look
out for images of the 37 ‘nat’ housed in a small hall. Visit
to see 12th Century frescoes adorning the corridors of
Kyansittha ‘Cave’ Temple. Visit Gubyaukgyi (Wetgyi Inn),
this early 13th century temple displays a strong influence
of Indian cultural. Inside are the wall paintings and 28
Buddha images in sitting position. Photo stop at Ywa Haung
Gyi Temple, Visit Htilominlo, the last Barmar style temple
built in Bagan, with old murals and friezes. Continue to
Ananda Temple, a whitewashed masterpiece of Mon architecture
with four standing Buddhas, and the adjacent brick monastery
from the Early Bagan era with well – preserved murals.
In the afternoon, visit Archeological Museum. Continue visit
to the Shwesandaw Pagoda, displays a strong Mon influence.
Visit to the Dammayangyi Temple, which is one of the most
impressive edifices in all of Bagan and it built in the
middle of 12th century. Then visit Sulamani Temple, known
for its murals dating from 11th-12th century and built by
King Narapatisithu. Then, visit the Mingalarzedi, which is
located near the riverside of great Ayeyarwaddy River.

Day 8 Bagan (BF)
Breakfast.
This morning, start your full day Bagan sightseeing tour
with a visit to see Nagayone paya, Continue visit Manuha
Paya, by appearance, it looks quite ordinary, but once
inside you'll have to clamber round four gigantic Buddha
statues squashed tightly inside the modest structure. Then
visit Nanpaya Temple, built in the Mon style with intricate
stone carvings, and said once to have been Manuha’s
residence. Visit to the Gubyaukgyi (Myingaba), continue
visit Myazedi, it is worth to see Myanmar’s “Rosetta Stone”,
bearing inscriptions written in four languages.
In the afternoon, car and guide at disposal. Accommodation
at hotel, Bagan.

Day 9 Bagan – Popa – Salay – Bagan (BF)
Breakfast.
This morning, drive out of Bagan to visit Mount Popa. Mount
Popa locates some 50km southeast of Bagan, Mount Popa, 1500
metres high, is an extinct volcano. It is the legendary home
of the 'nats' or spirits. The Mount Popa area has also been
designated as a National Park.
In the afternoon, drive back to Bagan and on the way back
Bagan visit Salay (Sa-Lay). It is a small town about 15km
south of Bagan, down the Ayeyarwaddy River. And Then visit U
Pone Nya Museum, formerly the Yoke Sone Monastery, exhibits
antique lacquerwares, wooden reliefs and a large standing
glided Buddha image. The figures carved outside the front of
the building are worth seeing. Then, drive back to Bagan.

Day 10 Bagan – Heho - Pindaya (BF)
Breakfast.
Transfer to Bagan Airport and take Air Mandalay or Yangon
Airways flight to Heho (ETD: 0810 / ETA: 0920 – via
Mandalay). Arrive at Heho Airport and drive up to Pindaya,
well known for its extensive limestone caves. Check into
your hotel.
In the afternoon, visit to the Pindaya Cave, the caves are
set deep in the hillsides and there stands at the entrance,
a 15 meter high Shwe U Min Pagoda. There are some 6000
Buddha images and interesting stalactite. And then, visit to
Shan Paper and umbrella making place.
If time is allow visit to the local people houses.

Day 11 Pindaya – Inle Lake (BF)
Breakfast. This morning, drive down to Nyaung Shwe and
board your private boat and transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, visit to the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, one of
the famous principal shrines in Myanmar, this pagoda houses
five small Buddha images. Once a year, in end September or
early October, there is a pagoda festival during which the
four Buddha images are rowed around the Lake in a colourful
barge. Then visit to the old Nga Phe Monastery, fondly known
as the jumping cats’ monastery. If time allows, stop to see
silk weaving on wooden handlooms. And also visit local
blacksmiths workshops. Accommodation at hotel, Inle Lake.
Day 12 Inle Lake – Indaing – Inle Lake (BF)
Breakfast. This morning, take boat tour to Indaing, at
the western end of the Lake. The boat takes you through a
long channel where you watch the farmers cultivate their
produce. This ride is one of the most scenic boat tours on
Lake Inle. In the afternoon, return to your hotel.
Accommodation at hotel, Inle Lake.
Day 13 Inle Lake – Yangon (BF)
Breakfast. This morning, leave your hotel by boat and
then drive to Heho Airport. Air Mandalay or Yangon Airways
flight from Heho to Yangon (approx – 0840/1100 – direct).
Arrive at Yangon Airport and transfer to your hotel.
In the afternoon, visit Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, huge 72 metre
Reclining Buddha. Continue visit the National Museum,
located on Pyay Road. The National Museum has five floors of
exhibits. It displays the Lion Throne, the Elephant Throne,
the Royal Regalia, manuscripts, paintings, etc. Later walk
along the Yangon River to enjoy the river view and the busy
harbour area. Accommodation at hotel, Yangon.
Day 14 Yangon departure (BF)
Breakfast. Transfer to Yangon Airport for your departure
flight…
