DAY 1 Yangon – Sittwe – Mrauk Oo

Pickup from your hotel and transfer to Yangon Airport. Air Mandalay or Yangon Airways flight from Yangon to Sittwe (ETD: 1145/ ETA: 1340 – via Thandwe). Arrive at Sittwe Airport transfer to jetty and proceed by Express Speed boat for 72 km about 2:30 hours journey upriver to the last royal capital of Rakhine, Mrauk Oo.

Dinner at local restaurant (or) hotel. Accommodation at hotel, Maruk-Oo.

 

DAY 2 Mrauk Oo

Breakfast, this morning, Visit to Shittaung Temple, a shrine of 80,000 Buddha images the adjacent Anndaw Thein Temple, Htukkan Thein Ordination hall and the 17th century temple of Yadanarphone Pagoda and Laymyatnar Temple, who was the first build in Mrauk Oo period in 14th century AD. Lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit to the local village, Zeener Manaung Pagoda, Luck Say Kan lake, Bandoohla Monastery, Sykyak Manaung Pagoda and enjoy the sunset at Shwegou Taung Pagoda Hill.

Dinner at local restaurant (or) hotel. Accommodation at hotel, Maruk-Oo.

DAY 3 Lay Too Chin Tattoo Tribe Village – Mrauk Oo

Breakfast. This morning, drive to Chin area about one hour by car and then, sail to Chin Village by boat. Visit to Chin Village.

Enjoy packed Lunch.

In the afternoon, we visit to another Chin Village and then going back to Mrauk Oo. Arrive to Mrauk Oo visit to Koe Thaung Temple. Dinner at local restaurant (or) Hotel. Accommodation at hotel, Maruk-Oo.

DAY 4 Mrauk Oo – Waytharli – Mahamuni Pagoda

Breakfast.
This morning, drive to Waytharli, the former 2.7 square miles large city was developed by king Mahathain Chandra during the Vesali Dynasty believe to have lasted until the 8th century. Visit the Waytharli Great image from 327 AD, a huge sitting Buddha image made out of the single piece of sandstone, as well as remaining ruins of the palace site. Continue by car to Danyawaddy. See the Mahamuni Pagoda built during the period of the Dhanyawaddy Dynasty. It once housed the famous Mahamuni image, a huge bronze image which was according to the legend, cast during Buddha’s visit to Rakhine. Nowadays the famous image site in Mandalay. Return to Mrauk Oo.

Enjoy lunch at local restaurant (or) hotel.
In the afternoon, visit to the Shakama Tribes village about 45 minute by Rowing Boat. Continue visit to Museum and Palace Site, dating back to 16th century. Enjoy sunset at Harre Taung Hill.

Dinner at local restaurant (or) hotel. Accommodation at hotel, Maruk Oo.

DAY 5 Mrauk Oo – Sittwe – Yangon

Breakfast. Early morning return to Sittwe, sightseeing in Sittwe about one hour. Then transfer to Sittwe Airport. Air Mandalay or Yangon Airways flight from Sittwe to Yangon (ETD: 1400 / ETA: 1555 – via Thandwe). Arrive at Yangon Airport and transfer to your hotel.
