Kalaw – Inle Lake
3 Days/ 2 Nights
DAY 1 Kalaw – Nan Te Le The
Meet your trekking guide at Kalaw Hotel. And start the trekking to
the south.
It will take about 2 hours to get to Look Pyin, the first village on the
journey from Kalaw. Look Pyin is the Danu village. Most of villages on
this journey are Danu, Pa-O and Inthas.
Lunch at the village
Continue about 1 hour and you will get to Char Pin, village. This
whole trekking is walking through the hilly regions so that it will
provide you invaluable chance to observe the minority’s unique daily
life. It is enjoyable to view picturesque landscape, a photographer’s
dream!
Trek another one and a half hour and you will get to Nan Ta Le Te.
Dinner and accommodation at Nan Ta Le The monastery.

DAY 2 Nan Te Le The – Thi Thein
Beakfast at the Monastery. Start the trekking of the second day trip.
It takes 1 and half hour to get to Baw Nin Khong Village. The hill tribe
dwelling in this village is Pa-O. Continue trekking about 45 minutes for
Tun Khong Village.
Lunch at the village.
After lunch, continue trekking about 2 ½ hour for Pauk To. Again, trek
another 45 minutes to Thi Thein. This village is the destination of that
day.
Dinner and accommodation at the Thi Thein Monastery.

DAY 3 Thi Thein – Than Thaung – Inle Lake
Breakfast at the Monastery.
Start by trekking 45 minutes to Kyauk Su. And then trek another 1 ½ hour
to Ngue Village.
Continue trekking about 1 ½ hour to Than Thaung, the residence of this
village is Inthas.
Lunch at the village. About the end of this trekking, you will be
rewarded to observe one of the most sensational view of the Inle Lake.
Than Thaung is the final destination of the trip.
Then, take the boat trip from Than Thaung jetty to your hotel at Inle
Lake, the home of unique leg rowers.
